the art of keeping a journal

OMG
what drives me to do this?
I'm your average miss having-multiple-blog-accounts-but-rarely-update-any-of-them, but still...
Maybe it's because of jealousy (my friends all have them, so there~)
Maybe it's because I find it a necessity to have a space to express myself (well there's always Facebook, but...)
Or maybe I'm just plain twisted (Twisted is my middle name - call me Maya Arielle Twisted Evans...whatever...)
Maybe it's my Subconscious, telling me "H**** has a very cool blog - shame on you Maya!"
But I'll say it's just me.Humhum.

Frankly speaking, I prefer writing a physical journal (i.e. a book one; that's so 1874 innit?). But then again I can't let myself forever trapped in the Victorian Era, and if I were to keep a book journal (which I am doing at the moment), I know as heck that the only ones reading it would be me, my husband Raphael and whatever creatures trapped beneath the pages (1874, remember?). Not that I have anything against a freakin 21st century blog, but I always find physical journals as romantic and intimate, filled with the intricateness and elegantness of time (I should stop those random word pourings). I could spill blood on it, drop tears on it, tear it to pieces (in an attempt to show that I'm pissed off at somebody...), draw intricate rose design, picture me in my imaginary Victorian period dresses...anything my phantasmagoric imaginations could think of. But then again, can't you do the same things on an online blog too? Of course, the most you can get are virtual blood drops all over the page, but that's better than nothing. So I started Maya's Black Rose.

What the heck is Maya's Black Rose? Or rather, why the heck is it called Maya's Black Rose?

Ah well, obviously, it's because I'm Maya, d-oh (you don't have to know my real name; you won't be that excited to know~~~). Black rose is my signature (I shall explain that later). It's how I express myself as a freaky gothic lolita/aristocrat (I shall explain that later too). Maya's Black Rose, coincidentally, is also the title of my book journal, so most of the entries here will be based on that freekin black book.

I shall write more later. It's fun to have a journal.
Ah, be careful, I'm very twisted.
Mwahahahahahahahahahahaha.
