AUSTRALIAN OPEN WTF

So Rafa withdrew. He's still got that old knee injury, and the injury has taken its toll on him. For God's sake, he could've won against Murray if not for the injury! T_T Though people may argue that Murray was already winning before Rafa's knee ruined everything, I still think that Rafa could beat him. Like the previous match against Ivo Karlovic - he started with a very humble game before emerging as the winner. I was following today's game while waiting for INTEC bus to depart, and I hoped as heck that he would rise again from the first set defeat. But when you have knee tendonitis that forced you to withdraw from last year's Wimbledon, chances are that knee tendonitis will yet again be the reason of your - not to forget your dearest fans' - despair.

But seriously, I think that it's better to withdraw than spending your entire ruined tennis career with a crippled knee. I definitely do not want to see Rafa in that condition. So let him have a very good rest, and someday he'll rise again twice as better (uh, think I've said this during last year's Wimbledon, but hey who knows what luck/fate has in store for all of us right?). Anyhoo, I will always be there to suport him. Vamos Rafael!

Btw, think it's going to be Murray or Roddick against Federer for the finals. Yet another reason for Leana's joy, I think. Nobody could beat Fed-Ex other than dearest Rafa for sure. And since Rafa is out, he's gonna win Aussie Open lah I think. (though deep in my heart I still hope that Davydenko would be able to kick his S tomorrow, but think that's unlikely, eh? So let's just hope for Djokovic, or even Murray I don't care as long as Federer kalah!!!!!!!)

We all love Grand Slams. Especially this one (my personal fave was French Open, but, uh.). Somehow, it's ironic that I hate every kinds of sport (coz I lack talent in any of them. Srsly man, galah panjang pun aku tak lepas.) but when it comes to tennis, I'll go gaga all over *hits a distorted rendition of 'Bad Romance'*. Well of course, everyone know the reason why.

RAFAEL NADAL!!!!

Last year, he reduced Federer to tears at the very arena (though Fed-Ex seemed to launch some kind of revenge plot on him later that year). This year, he seemed to have a very good start (beat Ivo Karlovic earlier today, pas ni jumpe Murray *curse Murray*) and I hope that he'll win Aussie Open again!

Btw, at this very moment I wish I have all the luck in the world to be able to hitchhike Leana's ride to Aussie so that I can watch my man Rafa reduce Federer to tears again!! GAHHHHH!!!!
